A Thought
We all have friends that we would consider an Angel. When we think of Angels we think of someone who is always willing to help us, to protect us, and to love us. A friend who is always there for us truly could be considered an angel. We all need that one friend in our life. But we always should remember that Jesus is always there for us, no matter what, no matter when!
There are many sayings that reflect this, “Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.” and another saying, “True friends are like angels. They are precious and rare, and false friends are like leaves, found everywhere.”
A Prayer
Dear Father
Thank you for the friends you have placed in my life. Please bless them with your goodness.
These people have been like angels to me. As you say in Hebrews 1:14, “Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.” I pray that I am an angel to those who call me friend. With your help I pray that I am a friend now and in eternity.
