A Thought
Faith will change our lives. To have faith in God and fully trust him enables us to do more than we ever could have imagined. But without faith we rely on ourselves and while we may meet some success it is through our faith in God that success is truly achieved. And what is critical is not our success here on earth but our success for eternity. Our life here is short but our life in eternity is forever and is far more important because we will spend it with God. When you have faith you may find your definition of what success is start to change.
A Prayer
Dear Father,
Thank you for allowing me to read your Word freely. Help me to continue to understand and build my faith on your wisdom. As it is stated in 1 Corinthians 2:5: so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on the power of God. Help me realize that the issues and the challenges I face I may not be able to understand but with faith in you I will come to understand.
As Jesus stated in Matthew 17:20: He told them, “It was because of your little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; nothing will be impossible for you.” Father I pray that you guide me to have that faith that will move mountains; that my faith is reflected in what I say and do; that others will wonder and question the reason for my happiness no matter what happens in my life.
